After visiting both Koh Mook and Koh Libong, we had our hopes up for great snorkeling when arriving to Koh Kradan, the last island on our island hopping trip.
We were definitely not disappointed, we found the best snorkeling in Thailand.
If you are looking for slow relaxing days on a genuine Thai island, Koh Libong could be exactly what you need.
Koh Libong seems to be something of a forgotten island in the Andaman Sea, far away from mass tourism.
After a couple of hours comfortable drive from Ao Nang in our air-conditioned minivan, we finally reach Hat Yao Pier that will take us to Koh Mook – The Pearl Island.
It’s lunch time as we take our backpacks down to the speedboat that will take us to the first stop at Koh Mook and our relaxing days in paradise.
Finally, we arrive in the evening at Krabi Airport after a long flight from Europe.
It’s february and the warm tropical wind meets us as we leave the aircraft – wonderful to be back in Thailand for some Krabi island hopping.
It’s time to announce my first travel story here at Resrutt – a two week Thailand itinerary. The itinerary will take you island hopping in Southern Thailand, a trip focused on finding the best beaches for relaxation. We start out at the airport of Krabi for a first stop in Ao Nang to catch up with the jetlag.
Then we travel south to Koh Mook, Koh Libong and Koh Kradan before we fly off from Trang Airport.
